This summer we shared the powerful story of LuPita, currently living with dementia. Today we are honored to introduce Jessica, LuPita’s daughter and care partner, in honor of November marking National Family Caregivers Month.

Hear firsthand from Jessica on how she decided to take on the vital role, the importance of taking care of oneself as a care partner, and advice on how to speak to a loved one you suspect might be showing signs of dementia. Just like her mom, Jessica is a beacon of strength, and her positive, calm attitude is contagious. There are many challenges she and her mom face each day, both separately and together, but there is still plenty to be grateful for – like moments of clarity and a renewed sense of purpose.
